Quadcopter Workshop

We have liftoff! CMAP has a quadcopter and we want to teach you how to fly it.
In this half-day workshop, you’ll learn to fly our DJI Phantom 2+ Quadcopter and record video using its HD video camera. (We’ll email you after the workshop with the footage that you shot!) We will provide light snacks, but please bring your own lunch and drinks. We will be outside all day, so definitely bring a hat, sunscreen, and water. By completing this workshop, you will be certified to rent CMAP’s quadcopter for your own projects. (Don’t forget – you can always hire CMAP to film something for you!)
PLEASE NOTE:
• Participants under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
• This workshop takes place at Christmas Hill Park in Gilroy. The instructor will inform participants of the specific meeting location.
