Gilroy Parent Found Pin in Chocolate Bar

A parent said they found a pin about the size of a sewing needle inside a chocolate bar from a local church’s Trunk or Treat event on Monday, October 27th. This is according to a social media post made by that church. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says not to eat candy until it has been checked at home and to throw out any that look unusual. One should look for signs of tampering, which can include tiny holes or tears and discoloration, they said.
